DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE RACEWAYS.

DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLE INSTALLATIONS.
-MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CABLES ARE INSTALLED CORRECTLY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.

A. Removal of the Aileron Servo Control (ASC)
If the aileron servo control is safetied with STA-LOK nuts, do the steps that follow:
(1)
Manually put and hold the aileron in the fully-up position.
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector (11).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the bolts (10).
(5)
Remove the bolts (10), the washers (9) and the clamp blocks (7).
(6)
For 33CE1(33CE2), do the steps that follow:
(a) At the pipe brackets near to the inboard and outboard sides of the ASC:
1 Remove the nuts (28), the bolts (24) and the washers (25).
_ 2 Disassemble and remove the tubes (26) and the clamp blocks

(27).
(b)
Disconnect and remove the return pipe (12) and the pressure pipe (20).
(c)
Put blanking plugs or caps on the ASC hydraulic connections and the disconnected line ends.
(d)
At the aileron jack-bracket:
1 Remove the nut (3), the washer (2) and the bolt (1).

2 Remove the locking plate (22).
_
(e) At the rear-spar jack-bracket: 1 Remove the nut (15), the washer (16) and the bolt (17).
_
2 Remove the locking plate (18).
_
(7) For 33CE3(33CE4), do the steps that follow:
(a) At the pipe brackets near to the inboard and outboard sides of the ASC:
1 Remove the nuts (26), the bolts (23) and the washers (24).

2 Disassemble and remove the clamp blocks (25).
_
(b)
Disconnect and remove the return pipe (12) and the pressure pipe (19).
(c)
Put blanking plugs or caps on the ASC hydraulic connections and the disconnected line ends.
(d)
At the aileron jack-bracket:
1 Remove the nut (3), the washer (2) and the bolt (1).

2 Remove the locking plate (21).
_
(e) At the rear-spar jack-bracket:
1 Remove the nut (16).
_
2 Remove the locking plate (17) from the stud (15).
_
(8) Remove the STA-LOK nuts (5) and (14) as follows (Ref. TASK 20-22-00-000-001):
(a)
Remove the STA-LOK washers (4) and (13) with the TOOL -EXTRACTION, TAB WASHERS STA-LOK NSA5454 (SL90-314-7500).
(b)
Remove the STA-LOK nuts (5) and (14) with the WRENCHES - NOTCHED, TIGHTENING OF NUTS NSA5454 (SL90-315-7500).

(9) Manually put and hold the aileron in the fully-up position.

Disconnect the electrical connector (13).
(11)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(12)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the bolts (12).
(13)
Remove the bolts (12), the washers (11) and the clamp blocks (9).
(14)
For 33CE1(33CE2), do the steps that follow:
(a)
At the pipe brackets near to the inboard and outboard sides of the ASC:
(b)
Disconnect and remove the return pipe (14) and the pressure pipe (24).
(c)
Put blanking plugs or caps on the ASC hydraulic connections and the disconnected line ends.
(d)
At the aileron jack-bracket: 1 Remove the nut (3), the washer (2) and the bolt (1).
1_ Remove the nuts (32), the bolts (28) and the washers (29).
2_ Disassemble and remove the tubes (30) and the clamp blocks
