Condition: The APU OVERSPEED light illuminated indicates one
of the following:
• APU RPM limit has been exceeded resulting in an automatic shutdown
• the overspeed shutdown protection feature has failed a self-test during a
normal APU shutdown.

Note: The APS 2000 APU requires a minimum of 5 min.
timing with APU switch at OFF position and APU
overspeed light extinguished before another start is
attempted.

Condition: Loss of thrust on an engine as indicated by the engine
indicators, or abnormal engine indications.
Accomplish an engine shutdown only when flight
conditions permit.
