Survivability
The aircraft shall be fitted with a SERPE-IESM Kannad 121AF Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) meeting FAA TSO standards, transmitting on 121.5 MHz and 406 Hz. The ELT shall be coupled to the aircraft GPS.  The ELT shall be provided with remote manual and impact activation.
The aircraft shall be fitted with a Bendix King KMH 880 TAWS B+ Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) with Traffic Collision Alert System (TCAS).
Weapons and munitions
The aircraft shall be able to carry explosives, munitions and pyrotechnics in accordance with Permissions issued by CASA.   
The Supplier shall assist SAPOL’s submission of Permission requests to CASA, by preparing and delivering draft Stowage Instructions for the hazardous goods listed in Annex One.  
The draft Stowage Instructions shall take into account any separate compartments, wherever they may be in the cabin, which can be used for separation of hazardous goods during flight.  
The Stowage Instructions shall identify any security arrangements or regulatory procedures which may be applicable.
The draft Stowage Instructions shall be a Data Deliverable as defined in Agreement Schedule 3.
2.1.9 Mission equipment
The following mission specific equipment shall be fitted to the aircraft prior to induction into service:
1.  
VHF/UHF Homing System providing azimuth reference and compatible with interrupted carrier ELTs on 121.5 Mhz and 406 Hz. The VHF/UHF Homer shall be interfaced to allow navigation to the beacon to be displayed as a pictorial representation to the pilot. 

2.  
GPS NMEA data outlet in the cabin.

3.  
Two x 12 Volt 15Amp and Four x 12 Volt 5Amp utility power outlets in the cabin.

4.  
IFR approved High Frequency (HF) Transceiver KHF950 including SEL Call function

2.1.10 Government furnished equipment (GFE)
The following SAPOL specific equipment shall be fitted to the aircraft prior to induction into service:
1.  
Police UHF Transceiver

2.  
Marine VHF FM transceiver

The Supplier shall be responsible for installation design and approval, and shall install and set to work these items prior to induction.  The equipment shall be mounted so that multi-function microphones, channel selectors and selective call controllers can be operated from the cockpit by the pilot.  The transceiver units, control boxes and power supplies shall be mounted in the avionics bay or other suitable equipment bay.
