The aircraft shall be fitted with “No Smoking” and “Fasten Seat Belts”
signs in the cabin.

The cabin shall be fitted with two (2) approved portable fire
extinguishers mounted one in the cockpit and one in the cabin.

The aircraft shall be fitted with an approved oxygen system with a
minimum capacity of 115 cubic feet, comprising oxygen cylinder,
supplemental oxygen system, two (2) crew diluter demand masks with
permanently connected microphones, nine (9) constant flow
passenger masks, and oxygen quantity indicator.

The cabin and baggage compartment shall be fitted with cabin lights,
reading lights, and compartment lights.

The aircraft doors shall be fitted with keyed door locks.  The aircraft
doors shall be illuminated by flood-lights.

The aircraft shall be supplied with an approved wheel lock device able
to be stowed in the aircraft during flight.

Propulsion, Fuel, Electrical and Hydraulic Systems
The aircraft shall be fitted with a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-67B turbine engine.
The aircraft shall be fitted with a Hartzell four blade reversing metal propeller with feather inhibit system.
The engine shall be fitted with:

Fire detection, warning and fire extinguishing systems,

.  
Dual engine chip detectors,

.  
Automatic ignition system,

.  
Manual Override (MOR) for Fuel Control Unit redundancy,

Engine condition and trend monitoring system,

.  
Oil debris monitoring system.

Time Between Overhaul (TBO) shall be 3,500 hours.
The Supplier shall reasonably assist SAPOL with the implementation of an extended 5,000 hour TBO program in accordance with CASA Airworthiness Directive ENG/5 (subject to SAPOL’s operational standards).
The fuel system shall comprise:

Delivery and transfer system with built-in redundancy,

2 Motive flow delivery jet pumps,

2 electrical boost pumps,

.  
1 engine driven pump.

The electrical system shall comprise:

GEN1 Starter/Generator Unit 28 VDC, 300 Amps,

GEN2 Back-up Alternator Unit 28 VDC, 115 Amps,

.  
Lead Acid battery 24 VDC, 42 Amp hours,

.  
External power connector for 28 VDC power source,

.  
Central Advisory and Warning System (CAWS) including warning, caution and advisory lights, master warning and caution with voice call-out,

.  
Emergency power system (standby Nickel Cadmium battery system).

The hydraulic system shall comprise:
