14) Install protection box (10) of condenser hose.
15) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
16) Remove the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation.
17) Install baggage compartment bottom door 242, the towing bar and the protection net.
18) Install A65 emergency locator transmitter - refer to 25-61-01.
 
19) Close the baggage compartment door.
20) Perform an operational test of the vapor cycle cooling system - refer to 21-55-00, page 501.

MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

2. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - EVAPORATOR (Figures 201 and 202)
A. Tools and consumable materials
Blanking caps and plugs
- Tie-wraps
- Sealant (TB 09-904)
- Sealant (TB 09-909) Loctite (TB 08-013C) Sealant (TB 09-905)
- Red paint
- Vacuum cleaner
B. Removal of the evaporator
1) Install the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation.
WARNING
DO NOT OPERATE
MAINTENANCE WORK IN PROGRESS
2) Open baggage compartment door, remove towing bar and baggage compartment bottom door 242.
NOTE : In the case of the oxygen installation, remove the baggage compartment lower bottom door.
3) Remove the protection net.
4) Drain the refrigerant - refer to 12-15-02.
5) Remove A65 emergency locator transmitter - refer to 25-61-01.
6) Remove the screws securing inspection door 245 (1) and inspection door 247 (3). Do not remove the three screws (2).
NOTE : One of screws (2) is not easily accessible. It is therefore preferable to remove both doors secured to each other.
7) Clear and remove both doors.
8) Disconnect the HP and LP hoses from evaporator (5), blank off.
9) Disconnect the terminals of S86 thermostat (30) (if installed).

10) Remove clamp (4) securing the air hose.
