(a)
Remove the Left (Right) weather radar receiver/transmitter, M101 (M460). To remove it, do this task: Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Removal, AMM TASK 34-43-41-000-801.
(b)
Disconnect the weather radar antenna drive unit connector D119 (D2923).
(c)
Do a wiring check between the Left (Right) weather radar receiver/transmitter connector D189B (673B), D189C (D673C) and the weather radar antenna drive unit connector D119 (D2923)(WDM 34-41-11).

TASK
801, Self Test, Level 2, Current Faults, and Level 4, Fault History.
(a)
If you hear the aural maintenance message ‘‘ARINC 429 Output Fault’’ in the EGPWS current faults or fault history, then replace the ground proximity warning computer, M652. To replace it, do these steps: Ground Proximity Warning Computer Removal, AMM TASK 34-46-01-000-801, Ground Proximity Warning Computer Installation, AMM TASK 34-46-01-400-801.
NOTE: ’’ARINC 429 Output Fault’’ is an EGPWS internal hardware failure reported by BIT that is relevant to the ‘‘Autotilt Fail’’ fault.
(b)
If you do not hear the aural maintenance message ‘‘ARINC 429 Output Fault’’ in the EGPWS current faults or fault history, then do the Fault Isolation Procedure below.
C. Fault Isolation Procedure
(1) Do this check of the wiring between the weather radar receiver/transmitter and the ground proximity warning computer:
(a)
Remove the ground proximity warning computer, M652. To remove it, do this task: Ground Proximity Warning Computer Removal, AMM TASK 34-46-01-000-801.
(b)
Remove the weather radar receiver/transmitter, M101. To remove it, do this task:Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter Removal, AMM TASK 34-43-41-000-801.
(c)
Do a wiring check between the ground proximity warning computer connector D1153A and the weather radar receiver/transmitter connector D1898 (WDM 34-49-11).
