F. Fault Isolation Procedure
(1)
Make sure that the combiner is in the correct position (not breakaway).
(2)
Make sure that no aircraft structure, trim panels, curtain rods and other components hit or touch the combiner.
(3)
Push the Combiner glass forward and let it move back to the detent position.
(a) Make sure no message is shown.
(4)
If ALIGNHUD continue to show, go to the next step.
(5)
Open the circuit breakers on the Circuit Breaker List.
(6)
Disconnect the OHU to the Combiner harness connector D 3193.
(7)
Close the circuit breakers on the Circuit Breaker List.
(8)
If only the ALIGNHUD display shows, remove and replace the combiner.
(9)
Replace the HUD Combiner. These are the tasks: AMM TASK 34-36-04-000-801 AMM TASK 34-36-04-400-801
