854. HUD Annunciator Panel Problems -Fault Isolation
A. Description
(1) This task is for fault code HAP C1 displayed on the HUD contol panel (C1 displayed on the combiner).
B. Possible Causes
(1) HUD annunciator panel (HAP) activity fault.
C. Circuit Breakers
(1) Make sure that these circuit breakers are closed:

(a)
If the fault code HAP C1 shows on the HUD control panel (fault code C1 on the combiner), write down the fault code information and refer to the corrective action for that code.
(b)
If the HAP C1 fault code does not show on the HUD control panel (fault code C1 on the combiner), then there was an intermittent fault.
F. Fault Isolation Procedure
(1)
Check the power to the HUD annunciator panel and repair any problems that you find.
(a)
If the HAP C1 fault code shows on the HUD control panel (C1 fault code on the combiner),
then continue with the fault isolation procedure.
(b)
If the HAP C1 fault code does not show on the HUD control panel (fault code C1 on the combiner), then you corrected the fault.
(2)
Do this task: AMM PAGEBLOCK 34-36-06/401 Config 2.
(3)
Do the Repair Confirmation.
(a)
If the HAP C1 fault code shows on the HUD control panel (C1 fault code on the combiner), then continue with the fault isolation procedure.
(b)
If the HAP C1 fault code does not show on the HUD control panel (fault code C1 on the combiner), then you corrected the fault.
(4)
Do this check of the wiring and repair any problems that you find:
(a)
Remove the HUD annunciator panel. To remove it, do this task: HUD Annunciator Panel Removal, AMM TASK 34-36-06-000-804-002.
