B. Procedure

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE WHEEL CHOCKS ARE CORRECTLY INSTALLED.
_______ IF THE WHEEL CHOCKS ARE NOT CORRECTLY INSTALLED, THE AIRPLANE CAN MOVE AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE.
(1)
Park the airplane (Ref 10-11-00, Park Airplane, except that the parking brake must be on).

(2)
Put the wheel chocks in front of and behind a minimum of one main gear wheel.
(3)
Turn the battery switch to the ON position.

CAUTION:_______ THE PARKING BRAKES WILL HAVE AN EFFECT FOR 8 HOURS AFTER THEY
ARE SET. BEFORE THE 8 HOURS ARE DONE, YOU MUST RELEASE AND
SET THE PARKING BRAKE AGAIN. THIS WILL MAKE SURE THERE IS
SUFFICIENT HYDRAULIC PRESSURE. IF THERE IS NOT SUFFICIENT
HYDRAULIC PRESSURE, THE AIRPLANE CAN MOVE AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO
THE AIRPLANE.

Push the brake pedals and pull up the parking brake handle on the captain's control stand.

Then, release the pressure on the brake pedals and release the parking brake handle.

Turn the battery switch to the OFF position if it is not necessary to have battery power.

CAUTION: DO NOT PREVENT THE MOVEMENT OF THE CONTROL COLUMN OR THE RUDDER
_______ PEDALS. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CONTROL SYSTEM IF THE COLUMN OR PEDALS CANNOT MOVE.

Make sure the flaps are in the full up position to decrease the wing lift.

Attach the mooring cables to the main landing gear:
(a)
Attach a cable to the tow eyebolt that is on the bottom side of each main landing gear.
(b)
Attach the mooring cables to attachment points that are aft of the main landing gear.
NOTE: This will decrease the forward movement and the side
____ movement.

(9) Attach the mooring assembly to the nose landing gear (Fig. 201):
(a)
Attach a cable to the fly-away tube assembly.
(b)
Attach the mooring cable to attachment points that are at the sides of the nose wheel.

(10) Attach the mooring cables to the tie-down fastener that is in the aft jack pad.
