R A. If the test gives the maintenance message BSV, J12, J14(WRONG): R - verify the nameplate of the engine:
R (1) If the nameplate is for a SAC engine: R - Replace J14 Identification connector (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-90-000-R 002) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-90-400-002) or Do a Re-programming of the R Identification Connector (Push-pull Design only) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-R 21-90-860-001).

R NOTE : This fault will be set if a DAC ID plug is installed on a SAC
____ R engine. The engine nameplate and ID plug can be checked on the R MCDU screen. Acces reporting functions, then select the LRU R Identification Screen. Line 4 of the LRU Identification Screen R will display. R - "EGT MON" or "SAC CONFIG" for a SAC ID plug R - "DAC CONFIG" for a DAC ID plug
R (2) If the nameplate is for a DAC engine:
R - Disconnect the HJ12 harness from the ECU (4000KS)
R - Do a resistance check of the HJ12 harness between (Ref. ASM 73-R 25/18):

R . pins 34 and 35 (72 to 89 ohms)

R . pins 18 and 36 (42 to 52 ohms)

R . pins 16 and 33 (42 to 52 ohms)

R . pins 34 and 17 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pins 18 and 17 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pins 16 and 17 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pin 34 and the ground (more than 10 megohms)

R . pin 18 and the ground (more than 10 megohms)

R . pin 16 and the ground (more than 10 megohms)

R (a) If the resistance values are out of the specified limits: R - Disconnect the HJ12 harness from the cable CJ11R at the 6 R o'clock junction box R - Do a resistance check of the cable CJ12R between (Ref. ASM 73-R 25/18).

R . pins 17 and 6 (72 to 89 ohms)

R . pins 19 and 18 (42 to 52 ohms)

R . pins 20 and 8 (42 to 52 ohms)

R . pins 17 and 7 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pins 19 and 7 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pins 20 and 7 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pin 17 and the ground (more than 10 megohms)

R . pin 19 and the ground (more than 10 megohms)

R . pin 20 and the ground (more than 10 megohms)


R 1_ If the resistance value are in the specified limits:
R - replace the HJ11 harness (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-50-000-044)
R (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-50-400-044).

R 2_ If the resistance value are out of the specified limits:
R - Disconnect the harness CJ12R from the BSV valve.
R - Do a resistance check at the BSV valve between (Ref. ASM 73-R 25/18).

R . pins 4 and 2 (72 to 89 ohms)

R . pins 6 and 7 (42 to 52 ohms)

R . pins 8 and 9 (42 to 52 ohms)

R . pins 2 and 1 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pins 6 and 1 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pins 8 and 1 (more than 10 megohms)

R . pin 2 and the ground (more than 10 megohms)
