4. Fault Isolation

A. If the operational test gives the maintenance message CHECK LGCIU2 SHOCK ABSORBER SIGNAL:
- replace the LGCIU-2 (5GA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the DETECTOR UNIT-TPIS (2GV) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-49-34-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-49-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring from the TPIU (2GV) to the LGCIU 2 (5GA2) pin AB/10A to pin AB/2D (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.

Loss of the 28VDC Power Supply of the TPIU
1. Possible Causes
_______________
- DETECTOR UNIT-TPIS (2GV)
- wiring from the TPIS (2GV) pin AA/15B to the ground terminal
- wiring from the TPIS (2GV) pin AA/15A to the circuit breaker (1GV)
- C/B-HYDRAULIC/TIRE/PRESS (1GV)

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message CHECK TPIU DC 1PP CIRCUIT:
- do a check of the circuit breaker (1GV) status:
(1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
- do a check for 28VDC at pin AA/15A of the TPIS (2GV) (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the DETECTOR UNIT-TPIS (2GV) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-49-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-49-34-400-001).
(b) If there is no 28VDC:
- do a check for a ground signal at pin AA/15B of the TPIS (2GV) (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
1 If there is no ground signal:
_
- repair the wiring from the TPIS (2GV) pin AA/15B to the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
2 If there is ground signal:
_
- do a check of the wiring from the TPIS (2GV) pin AA/15A to the circuit breaker (1GV) (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
a If there is no continuity:
_
- repair the related wiring.
b If there is continuity:
_
- replace the C/B-HYDRAULIC/TIRE/PRESS (1GV) (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
(2) If the circuit breaker is open:
- close the circuit breaker:
(a) If it trips:
- replace the TPIS (2GV) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-49-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-49-34-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check for a short to ground at the wiring from the TPIS (2GV) pin AA/15A to the circuit breaker (1GV) (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
a If there is a short to ground:
_
- repair the related wiring. b If there is no short to ground:
_ - replace the circuit breaker (1GV) (Ref. ASM 32-49/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
