A. Removal of the Fuel Tubes
(1) Cut and remove the lockwire from the insulation housing (50). Remove the housing from the fuel filter differential pressure switch.
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector 4000ELA from the pressure switch.
(3) Put a container below the fuel filter to catch the drained fuel.
(4) Disconnect the lower tubes (15) and (20) from the unions (40) in the fuel filter. Let the fuel drain into the container.
(5) Remove the nuts (35), the bolts (25), and the clamps (30) that attach the tubes to the brackets on the engine.
(6) Disconnect the tubes: CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTER TORQUE TO THE TUBES
_______ WHEN YOU DISCONNECT THE LOWER TUBES FROM THE UPPER TUBES.
(a) Disconnect the lower tubes (15) and (20) from the upper tubes
(10) and (5). Remove the tubes from the engine.
(b) Disconnect the upper tubes (5) and (10) from the pressure switch. Remove the tubes from the engine.
(7) Put protective covers on the tube coupling nuts, the pressure switch, the fuel filter, and the electrical connector 4000ELA.
