- Remove and discard the D-bolt.
- Install a new D-bolt on the main fuel pump housing.
- Install a new retaining ring on the D-bolt.
(i) Make an inspection of the fuel filter cover and the filter element for contamination. According to the filter element contaminants, you must do an inspection of the filter element (Ref. TASK 73-11-10-210-003).
