A. Install the IGV and stage 3 lever arms. CAUTION : CORRECTLY ALIGN THE WITNESS MARK ON THE VANE STEM WITH THE
_______ LEVER ARM. BLADE DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE VANE STEM IS NOT CORRECTLY ALIGNED.
(1) Install the replacement bushing in the stator case.
(2) Install the replacement lever arms on the vane while you engage the lever arm pin into the actuation ring.
(3) Make sure the lever arm fully engages the vane stem flats.
(4) Install the washer and nut on the vane stem. Hold the lever arm with LEVER, COUNTERTORQUE - CPRSR STATOR VANE ACTUATION ARM (856A1012G01), while you tighten the nut.
(5) TORQUE the nut to between 55 and 70 lbf.in (0.62 and 0.79 m.daN). Do not let the vane turn.

(a) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine.
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

(3) On the overhead maintenance panel 50VU:
(a) Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
(b) Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).
