Go–Around and Missed Approach
Note: For a manual go-around:
After planned flaps set and at or
• rotate manually
• select or verify go-around thrust
• engage autopilot as needed
above flap maneuvering speed
• Select FLCH or VNAV
• Verify climb thrust
(CON thrust, 1 engine)
• Verify altitude capture
• Do the After Takeoff checklist
Above 400 feet RA
• Select roll mode
• Verify missed
approach altitude set
• Verify route tracking
Acceleration height
• Select speed for planned flap setting
• Retract flaps on schedule
Initiation
• Push TO/GA, flaps 20
(flaps 5 or 20, 1 engine)
• Verify go-around attitude
• Verify or adjust thrust as needed
• Positive rate of climb - gear up
