Use TOTALIZER to determine fuel remaining.
Note: After engine shutdown, all remaining fuel can be
used for the operating engine. Resume normal fuel
management procedures. Plan to balance fuel
when the FUEL IMBALANCE message is displayed.
Plan to land at the nearest suitable airport.
If landing using flaps 20:
GND PROX FLAP OVRD. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . OVRD
Note: Use flaps 20 and VREF20 for landing and flaps 5
for go–around.
If landing using flaps 30 (performance permitting):
Note: Use flaps 30 and VREF30 for landing and flaps 20

Condition: Engine is on suction feed.
If unable to maintain required thrust on affected engine:
CROSSFEED switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .ON
[Allows fuel from operative pump side to feed both engines.]
If airplane altitude above FL200:
Descent. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Initiate
Descend to FL200.
[Ensures that suction feed will supply adequate fuel to engine.]
When airplane altitude at or below FL200:
Note: Do not climb above FL200 for the remainder of
the flight.
CROSSFEED switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .OFF
[Restores main tank–to–engine fuel feed.]
Note: Continue suction feed operation. Do not balance
fuel.
Condition: All fuel pump output pressures are low.
Condition: Center fuel pump output pressure is low.
