Condition: Increased spoiler drag due to loss of pressure in
center hydraulic system and low altitude cruise.
RAM AIR TURBINE switch. . . . . . Push and hold for 1 second
[Reduces drag by enabling center hydraulic system to power and stow two
spoiler pairs.]
Fly LRC speed.
[Improves range.]
Condition: Two spoiler pairs are inoperative.
Note: Roll rate may be reduced in flight. Speedbrake
effectiveness may be reduced in flight and during
landing.
If landing using flaps 25:
Note: Use flaps 25 and VREF25 +5 for landing.
[Flap effectiveness is reduced.]
If landing using flaps 30:
Note: Use flaps 30 and VREF30 +5 for landing.
[Flap effectiveness is reduced.]
Condition: One or more spoiler panels are inoperative.
Note: Roll rate may be reduced in flight. Speedbrake
effectiveness may be reduced in flight and during
landing.

Condition: Nose gear pressure switch disagrees with computed
stabilizer greenband.
FMC WEIGHT and CG Entries. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Check
[An incorrect entry may cause an incorrect stab greenband calculation.]
Condition: Uncommanded stabilizer motion is detected or
stabilizer is inoperative.
# STABILIZER CUTOUT switches (Both). . . . . . . . . . CUTOUT
[Prevents subsequent uncommanded or inappropriate stabilizer motion.]
# Do not exceed current airspeed.
[Nose down elevator authority is limited.]
Stabilizer is inoperative. Pitch trim remains available in the
normal flight control mode.
GND PROX FLAP OVRD . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . OVRD
Note: Use flaps 20 and VREF30 + 20 for landing.
[Provides sufficient elevator authority for landing.]
