Connect the regulated air pressure supply to the transmitter INLET port.

(f)
Raise the port pressure to 200 ± 7 psig at a rate of 10 psi/second max.

(g)  
Check that the voltmeter reading is 11.26 ± .25 VAC.

(h)  
Lower the port pressure to 80 ± 3 psig at a rate of 10 psi/second max.

(i)
Check that the voltmeter reading is 14.56 ± .14 VAC.

(j)
Lower the port pressure to 0 psig at a rate of 10 psi/second max.

(k)  
Check that the voltmeter reading is 16.758 ± .16 VAC.

(l)
Disconnect the power supply from connector D1084P.

(m)  
Disconnect the voltmeter from connector D1084P.

(n)  
Disconnect the regulated air supply from the transmitter.

(o)  
Connect the engine oil pressure sensing line to the pressure transmitter INLET port.

 


D. No. 4 Bearing Compartment Scavenge Oil Pressure Transmitter Test
(1)
General

(a)  This test makes sure the No. 4 bearing scavenge oil pressure transmitter operates correctly.

(2)
Equipment

(a)  
Power Supply -28 VAC ± 0.10 VAC, 400 Hz

(b)  
Multimeter -Fluke 8020 or equivalent

(c)  
Nitrogen Bottle Cart

 

(3)
Test the No. 4 bearing compartment scavenge oil pressure transmitter.


(a)  Connect a 28V voltmeter between pins 19 and 21 of connector D1084P.

(b)  
Connect the power supply between pins 19 and 20 of connector D1084P.

(c)  
Check that the voltmeter reading is 16.758 ± .28 VAC.

(d)  
Disconnect the oil pressure sensing line from the No. 4 bearing scavenge pressure transmitter INLET port.

(e)  
Connect the regulated air pressure supply to the transmitter INLET port.

(f)  
Raise the port pressure to 350 ± 14 psig at a rate of 10 psi/second max.

(g)  
Check that the voltmeter reading is 11.26 ± .28 VAC.

(h)  
Lower the port pressure to 175 ± 9 psig at a rate of 10 psi/second max.

(i)  
Check that the voltmeter reading is 14.01 ± .20 VAC.

(j)  
Lower the port pressure to 0 psig at a rate of 10 psi/second max.

(k)  
Check that the voltmeter reading is 16.758 ± .28 VAC.

(l)  
Disconnect the power supply from connector D1084P.

(m)  
Disconnect the voltmeter from connector D1084P.

(n)  
Disconnect the regulated air supply from the transmitter.

(o)  
Connect the oil pressure sensing line to the pressure transmitter INLET port.
