Connect connector D5004 to the fuel filter differential switch.

Tighten connector hand tight plus 1/8 turn maximum.
(b)
Measure electrical resistance between equipment housing adjacent to connector and ground lead terminal on strain relief backshell.
(c)
Resistance shall not exceed 0.005 ohms.
(6)
Verify an open circuit between pin 4 of connector D1074P and ground.
4. Oil Indicating and Warning Systems Test
A. General
(1)
This test makes sure that the indicating and warning systems operate correctly.

B. Oil Quantity Transmitter Test
(1)
General
(a) This test checks continuity through the oil quantity transmitter wire bundle.
(2)
Equipment
(a)
Multimeter -Fluke 8020 or equivalent
(b)
Strap Wrench
1) Balmar 76-101
2) Glenair TG-70
(3)
Test the oil quantity transmitter.
(a)
Disconnect connector D5016 from the oil quantity transmitter.
(b)
Verify continuity between pin 3 of connector D1072P and pin 1 of connector D5016.
(c)
Verify continuity between pin 10 of connector D1072P and pin 3 of connector D5016.
(d)
Verify continuity between pin 9 of connector D1072P and pin 2 of connector D5016.
(e)
Verify continuity between pin 4 of connector D5016 and ground.

(f) Connect connector D5016 to the oil quantity transmitter.
CAUTION: USE THE TORQUE WRENCH SETTINGS TO GET THE SPECIFIED TORQUE. IF THE TORQUE IS INCORRECT, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTORS AND DECREASE THE LIGHTNING PROTECTION FOR WIRES.
(g) Tighten connector coupling nut until it is tight and color band on receptacle is covered.
C. Oil Differential Pressure Transmitter Test
(1)
General
(a) This test makes sure the oil differential pressure transmitter operates correctly.
(2)
Equipment
(a)
Power Supply -28 VAC ± 0.10 VAC, 400 Hz
(b)
Multimeter -Fluke 8020 or equivalent
(c)
Nitrogen Bottle Cart
(3)
Test the oil differential pressure transmitter.
(a)
Connect a 28V voltmeter between pins 23 and 24 of connector D1084P.
(b)
Connect the power supply between pins 22 and 23 of connector D1084P.
(c)
Check that the voltmeter reading is 16.758 ± .16 VAC.
(d)
Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensing line from the differential pressure transmitter INLET port.
