Open the doors for the landing gear and install the door locks (Ref 32-00-15).
(3)
Remove the pressure from the left hydraulic system (Ref 29-11-00).

E. Remove the Lock Spring

Remove the bolt from the spring spacer at the aft end of the spring. Remove the end cap (View A-A).

Remove the nut and the tang washer from the forward end of the spring (View B-B).
