1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is for removal of the uplock-operated door sequence valve for the main landing gear. The other task is for installation of the door sequence valve.

(1) Make sure the downlocks are installed on the nose and main landing gear (AMM 32-00-20/201).

_______ LOCKS. THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE QUICKLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Open the doors for the landing gear and install the door locks (AMM 32-00-15/201).

Remove the pressure from the left hydraulic system and the hydraulic reservoir (AMM 29-11-00/201).

D. Remove the Door Sequence Valve

Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the sequence valve.

Install plugs in the lines and fittings.

Remove the bolt to disconnect the link from the sequence valve (Detail A).

(4)
Remove the bolts that attach the sequence valve to the uplock assembly and bracket.

Remove the sequence valve.

Procedure to Install the Sequence Valve

(1)
If the unions, restrictor, and packing are not installed in the valve, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Apply a thin layer of BMS 3-11 fluid or MCS 352 lubricant to the unions, restrictor, and packing.
(b)
Install the unions, restrictor, and packing in the valve ports.

(2) Install the bolts, washers, bushing, and nuts to attach the sequence valve to the uplock assembly and bracket (Detail A). Install with the bolt head away from the valve. Install the washers behind both the bolt head and the nut.
NOTE: Install the bushing with the bottom right bolt only.
