(1)
Fill the actuator with hydraulic fluid.
(2)
Install plugs in the hydraulic fittings.

Install the bolt, washers, spacer, and nut to connect the head end of the actuator to the structure. Put the plain washer behind the nut, and the countersink washer behind the head of the bolt with the countersink to the head (Detail A).

Install the bolt, washers, bushing, and nut to connect the rod end of the actuator to the crank. Put the plain washer behind the nut, and the countersink washer behind the head of the bolt with the countersink to the head.
