FMCS -ACT ALTN NAV LEGS PAGE
Purpose
The active alternate navigation (ACT ALTN NAV) LEGS page lets the flight crew enter a flight plan, modify and show details of each leg of the flight plan when the active FMCF fails.
Page Access
To get access to the ALTN NAV LEGS page, do one of these:

Push the LEGS mode key on the CDU keyboard when the active FMCF fails. This occurs when the FMC selector is in the left or right position. This also occurs when the FMC selector is in the auto position and both FMCFs fail
*
Push the NEXT PAGE or PREV PAGE function key to see a different ALTN NAV LEGS page.
Color
All text on this page is white except the active waypoint is magenta when the route is active or modified active.
Information
This data shows on the ACT ALTN NAV LEGS page:

Magnetic (mag) bearing (brg) to the last waypoint
*
MAG track (TK) to each additional waypoint
*
Position (latitude-lat and longitude-lon) of each fix
*
Distance to the next waypoint in nautical miles.

Purpose
The alternate navigation (ALTN NAV) PROGRESS page shows current flight plan information about the progress of the flight when the active FMCF fails. The flight crew can also change the destination airport or waypoint.
Page Access
To get access to this page, push the PROG mode key when the active FMCF fails. This occurs when the FMC selector is in the left or right position. This also occurs when the FMC selector is in the auto position and both FMCFs fail.
Color
All text on this page is white except for the active waypoint which is magenta when the route is active or modified active.

FMCS -ALTN NAV RADIO PAGE
Purpose
The alternate (back-up) navigation (ALTN NAV) RADIO page gives an alternate means to tune the navigation radios. The left CDU does the alternate tune for the left navigation radios and the center ILS radio. The right CDU does the alternate tune for the right navigation radios.
Page Access
To get access to the ALTN NAV RADIO page, push the NAV RAD mode key when both FMCFs fail.
Color
All text on this page is white except for these indications:

VOR frequency and course (CRS) entries are green and in large font
*
ADF frequency entry is cyan in large font.
Information
Line 1L shows the last FMCF VOR frequency or manual frequency entry for the onside radio. The M shows for both cases.
Line 2L shows the manual CRS entry or dashes with no previous CRS entry. The CRS entry or dashes show when there is a valid frequency in 1L.
