FMCS -TAKEOFF REF PAGE

Purpose
The takeoff reference (TAKEOFF REF) page shows preflight FMCF initialization status. This page permits manual entries and shows FMCF takeoff calculation data.
Page Access
To get access to the TAKEOFF REF page, push the INIT/REF mode key when preflight status is complete. Also, to get access to the TAKEOFF REF page, push the TAKEOFF line select key from one of these CDU pages:

INIT/REF INDEX page

*
PERF INIT page

*
THRUST LIM page

*
RTE page.


Color
All text on this page is white.
Data Fields
These data fields show for the TAKEOFF REF page 1/2:
*
1L -takeoff flaps selection

*
2L -assumed temperature for the takeoff thrust derate calculations

*
3L -center of gravity (CG) and stabilizer trim takeoff setting

*
4L -takeoff runway and takeoff distance from the runway threshold


EFFECTIVITY

5L -prompt to request for a takeoff data uplink

*
1R -decision speed (V1)

*
2R -rotate speed (VR)

*
3R -engine out climb speed (V2)

*
4R -takeoff gross weight

*
5R -status of the reference speeds display. When OFF shows in green, the reference speeds do not show. When ON shows in green, the reference speeds show in the center column next to the V speeds.


These data fields show for the TAKEOFF REF page 2/2:
*
3L -wind direction and wind speed

*
4L -FMC calculated headwind/tailwind and crosswind
components for the takeoff runway and surface wind


*
5L -runway slope

*
1R -engine out acceleration height

*
2R -acceleration height

*
3R -thrust reduction altitude or flaps setting

*
4R -uplinked takeoff gross weight

*
5R -outside air temperature.

POS INIT> -This shows when on the ground and ADIRU initialization is not complete.

FMCS -APPROACH REF PAGE

Purpose
The approach reference (APPROACH REF) page shows approach data.
Page Access
To get access to the APPROACH REF page, do one of these steps:
*
Select APPROACH from the INIT/REF INDEX page

*
Push the INIT/REF mode key during flight when the climb mode is not active.


Color
All text is white or green.
Data Fields
The APPROACH REF page shows these data fields:
*
1L -gross weight

*
3L -landing reference as QFE or QNH. QFE is active when it shows in large green font. QNH is active when it shows in large green font. Only one reference can be active at one time
