FMCS -OFFPATH DES PAGE
Purpose
The OFFPATH descent (DES) page lets the flight crew review data that relates to a clean or speed brake descent to a specific point. The flight crew can select, enter, or delete data fields or go to another page.
Page Access
To get access to the OFFPATH DES page, do one of these steps:

Select OFFPATH DES from the ACT ECON DES page
*
Select OFFPATH DES from the DESCENT FORECASTS page.
Entry to this page does not require an active route or an end of descent point.
Color
All text on this page is white except for these conditions:
*
The FMCF target speed (ECON or SEL) is magenta when a lateral route is active or modified active state
*
The FMCF target computed airspeed (CAS) and mach is magenta when a lateral route is active or a modified active, the mach value is magenta when both values appear
*
The FMCF target speed (SEL SPD) is magenta when the lateral route is active or modified active
*
The display font ON is green when it is large font.
Information
The OFFPATH DES page shows this data in the descent flight phase:
*
Speed and transition altitude in descent
*
Distance from the airplane to the clean descent path at the current altitude for a clean idle descent
*
Distance from the airplane to the drag descent path at the current altitude for a full speed brake idle descent.

Purpose
The WINDS page shows wind forecast and outside air temperature (OAT) at specific altitude entries for up to 120 waypoints.
Page Access
To get access to the WINDS page, select the W> prompt on a RTE DATA page next to the waypoint. Push the NEXT PAGE or PREV PAGE function key while on the WIND page to go to another WINDS page.
Color
All text on this page is white.
Information
This data shows on the WINDS page:

WINDS waypoint in the page title field
*
Wind direction in degrees for the altitude and speed
*
A single OAT and altitude entry at 5R that modifies all OATs on lines 1L through 4L.
