*
Step climbs that occur at preset points in the flight plan
*
A flight plan that has no steps in the cruise flight phase.
Page Access
To get access to the CRZ page, do one of these steps:
*
Push the VNAV mode key
*
push the NEXT PAGE function key when the CLB page shows
*
Push the PREV PAGE function key when the DES page shows
*
The CRZ page shows automatically when the airplane captures the mode control panel (MCP) cruise altitude.
Color
All text on this page is white except for these conditions:
*
The FMC target altitude is magenta when the route is active or is modified active
*
The FMCF target speed/mach (ECON, EO, LRC, CO SPD, or SEL SPD) is magenta when the route is active or modified active.
Information
The ACT ECON CRZ page shows this data in flight:
*
Engine thrust target
*
Engine pressure ratio (EPR)
*
Distance to go (DTG) to a waypoint in the flight plan
*
Estimated time of arrival (ETA) to a waypoint in the flight plan
*
Destination airport identifier or fix identifier
*
ETA at destination airport or fix identifier
*
Fuel that remains at destination airport or fix identifier
*
Optimum altitude
*
Maximum altitude.

FMCS -ACT ECON DES PAGE
Purpose
The active economy descent (ACT ECON DES) page lets the flight crew review and change the current DES and next DES flight segments.
The flight crew can:
*
Select data
*
Enter data
*
Delete data fields
*
Select another page.
Page Access
To get access to the DES page, do one of these steps:
*
Push the VNAV mode key when VNAV is active and descent is the active flight phase
*
Push the PREV PAGE function key when the climb page shows
*
Push the NEXT PAGE function key when the CRZ page shows
*
This page shows automatically when the airplane transitions from the CRZ flight phase to the DES flight phase and VNAV is active
*
Select 6L (DES) on the OFFPATH DES page
*
Select 6R (DES) on the DES FORECASTS page.
Color
All text on this page is white except for these conditions:
*
The FMCF target altitude and waypoint is magenta when a lateral route is active or modified active
*
The FMCF target speed (ECON or SEL) is magenta when a lateral route is active or modified active
*
The FMCF target computed airspeed (CAS) and mach is magenta when a lateral route is active or a modified active, the mach value shows magenta when both values appear
*
The FMCF target speed (SEL SPD) is magenta when the lateral route is active or modified active.
Information
The ACT ECON DES page shows this data in flight:
*
End of descent (E/D) constraint altitude and at (AT) constraint waypoint identifier
*
Speed/mach and transition altitude in descent
*
The next waypoint constraint (AT) or HOLD AT and its intercept (INTC) target altitude (AT, A = above, or B = below).

FMCS -DESCENT FORECAST PAGE
Purpose
The descent forecast page lets the flight crew enter forecast values of parameters to more accurately define the computed descent profile. These parameters can also be sent on datalink.
Page Access
To get access to the DESCENT FORCAST page, select FORECAST> from the descent page.
Color
All text on this page is white.
Entries
Do this to enter a transition level:
*
Type a valid altitude into the scratchpad
*
Enter this into 1L.
For the descent phase, the default value for the transition level is FL180. If an arrival procedure has a transition level, it shows.
Do this to enter an altitude for expected thermal anti-ice:
*
Type a valid altitude into the scratchpad
*
Enter into 1R.
Do this to enter descent wind altitudes with wind direction and speed:
