NOSE GEAR DOOR LINKAGE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Equipment and Materials
A. Gear Ground Lock Assemblies (Ref 32-00-01)
B. Feeler Gage
C. Grease, MIL-G-21164 or MIL-G-23827 optional to BMS 3-33
D. Naphtha, P-D-680 or equivalent solvent
E. Corrosion Preventive Compound, MIL-C-11796 Class 3
2. Remove Nose Gear Door Linkage
A. Install nose and main gear ground lock assemblies (Ref 32-00-01).
B. Disconnect door operator rod (5, Fig. 401) from door forward hinge (6) (detail A).
C. Disconnect operator rod from crank assembly (3) by removing bolt (4).
D. Remove link assembly (8) by removing bolt at each end.
E. Remove crank assembly (3) (detail B).

Remove lockwire from spring pin (15) at inboard end of door operator bolt (14) and remove spring pin.
(2)
Remove nut (13) from door operator bolt.
