4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. Do the bite test (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-740-001).
B. If the FAP gives the maintenance message SYSTEM INOP:
- Refer to the LAST LEG REPORT or PREVIOUS LEGS REPORT page of the bite test. (Ref. Fig. 201/TASK 38-31-00-991-001)
- Refer to the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page of the bite test.
(1) If there is NO FAULTS indication on the trouble shooting data page:
- Operate the flush switches to flush the toilets.
(2) If the toilets do not flush:
- open and close the circuit breaker 33MG.

- remove and clean the Liquid Level Transmitter (LLT) REFERENCE LINE, (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-00-100-009).
- replace the XMTR-LEVEL PHASE OFF (40MG), (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-62-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-62-400-001).
C. Test
(1) Do the test as given in paragraph 3. A. to check the correct
operation.
(2) After the subsequent flight, make sure that the fault does not
continue.

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, you can find the related trouble shooting procedure in the applicable Page Block 101.
(1) If the LAST/PREVIOUS LEGS Report gives the maintenance message TOILET ASSY LAV X:
(a) go to the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page.

(2) If the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page gives the maintenance message WATER VALVE:
- replace the WATER VALVE, (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-55-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-55-400-001).
B. If the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page gives the maintenance message FLUSH VALVE MOTOR:
- replace the FLUSH VALVE, (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-57-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-57-400-001).
C. If the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page gives the maintenance message FLUSH VALVE OPEN LIMIT SWITCH:
- replace the FLUSH VALVE, (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-57-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-57-400-001).
D. If the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page gives the maintenance message FLUSH VALVE CLOSED LIMIT SWITCH:
- replace the FLUSH VALVE, (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-57-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-57-400-001).
E. If the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page gives the maintenance message FCU:
- replace the FLUSH CONTROL UNIT, (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 38-31-12-400-001).
F. Test
(1) Do the test as given in paragraph 3. A. to check the correct
operation.
