6. Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication

 7. Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the MCDU menu comes into view.

 ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

R 1. Description
___________ R The ignition system requires 115V, 400Hz from the electrical system via the R ECU. The ECU controls excitation of ignition exciters A and B. R The ignition exciters transform the 115V - 400Hz current into high voltage R pulsating current. This current charges internal capacitors. The stored R energy is 5 to 8 joules. The discharge rate is of one per second and the R energy delivered is 1.5 joules. R Each engine has two independent ignition exciters R - Upper ignition exciter (IGN 1) and lower ignition exciter (IGN 2) . R - Upper ignition exciter supplies the right spark igniter (A) while lower R ignition exciter supplies the left spark igniter (B). R The two ignition exciters for each energization are controlled by ECU and R can be operated independently (starting sequence on ground) or R simultaneously (continuous ignition). The ECU selects one ignition exciter R for two successive automatic starts then selects the other ignition R exciter, this is to avoid dormant failure and premature wear of sparks R igniters.
