(2) Install the new retaining ring (20) and retaining ring (20). PRE SB 74-002
(3) Install the caged spring assembly (30) and caged spring assembly (30) to the ignition lead. Make sure that the large shoulder end of the caged spring assembly (30) is at the contact end of the ignition lead.
(4) Install the new white chamfered silicone seal (10) to the ignition lead. The small diameter collar of the white chamfered silicone seal
(10) must be put into the large collar of the caged spring assembly (30).

A. Clean the Ignition Lead
(1) Clean the damaged area of the ignition lead with a lint-free cloth R that is moist with trichloroethylene (Material No. CP1008) or R stoddard solvent (Material No. CP2011) or acetone (Material No. R CP1039) or ardrox 552 (Material No. CP2559) or turco ind 79 (Material R No. CP2560) or mag-chem teksol (Material No. CP2566) or degreasol 99R R (Material No. CP2584) or mag-chem skysol (Material No. CP2656) .
(2) Let the surface air dry.

B. Repair the Chafe Guard
(1) Apply a thin layer of RTV 732 (Material No. CP2242) to the damaged area of the chafe guard.
(2) Push the damaged chafe guard back into place.
