CAUTION In case of discrepancies between the airspeed indications on the
Captain’s PFD and on standby indicator, disregard the standby indicator
(probe not deiced).
AVOID ICING CONDITIONS
Wing anti-ice, windshields, and windows heat are lost.
Note: ‐ Engine anti-ice pb-sw is on, regardless of the pushbutton’s position. Fuel
consumption increases by approximately 1.5 %.
‐ Aircraft is out of trim, due to the right aileron upfloat. Rudder trim control
remains operative, despite no indication on control panel (pedestal).

Note: ‐ As fuel is fed from one side only, fuel balance must be monitored. To
maintain fuel balance, fuel PUMP 1 can be selected OFF, then STBY PUMP
4 will automatically start (althought it is indicated FAULT when fuel PUMP 1
is on).
‐ The T TANK MODE FWD light is not powered. Check the ECAM fuel page
for valve position.

Only VOR 1 selector or ADF 1 selector (as selected on the DDRMI) is available. No

on the DDRMI.

Landing elevation must be manually set, because both FMGC are lost.

 3 MIN/2000 FT BEFORE LDG:
Restore all generators 3 min before landing or at 2 000 ft AAL to recover normal
braking and normal flight control law, while minimizing possible reactivation of a
smoke source. Just before restoring all generators, switch First Officer Side on IR3,
since:
IR3 is not ‐ lost in EMER ELEC CONFIG,
‐ IR2 is recovered but faulty since not aligned, and PFD2 and ND2 are recovered
after that generators are on.
