L2Note: The ECAM caution is triggered at 45 °C (without procedure) and automatically
recalled at 49 °C (with procedure for JET B) and 60 °C (with procedure for all
Fuels).
L1 in flight:
IF JET A fuel temp reaches 60 °C or JET B fuel temp reaches 49 °C:
GALLEY..........................................................................................................................OFF
L2 Reducing electrical loads will reduce heat rejected by IDG.
L1 ENG F. FLOW (AFFECTED SIDE).......................................................................INCREASE
L2 Disconnect autothrust. Adjust thrust lever to increase fuel flow through IDG oil heat
exchanger and decrease temperature of fuel returning to inner tank.
Note: The ECAM caution is triggered at 49 °C and automatically recalled at 60 °C.

L2 This caution appears for crew awareness, as soon as the inner tank temperature reaches
45 °C.
This caution will automatically reappear if inner tank temperature reaches 49 °C:
However, at this threshold, crew action is required for certified JET B and JP4 FUEL only Refer
to LIM-28 FUEL TEMPERATURE, and no crew action is required for all other fuel types. To
cover all other certified fuel types, this caution will automatically reappear, if the temperature
reaches 55 °C.

Applicable to:
L2 This caution appears, as soon as the inner tank temperature is less than -35 °C, or outer or trim
tank temperature is less than -40 °C. However, at this threshold: Crew action is required for JET A
FUEL only, and no crew action is required for other fuel types.
For all other fuel types: This caution will automatically be recalled, if the temperature reaches
-42 °C (inner tank temp), or -47 °C (outer or trim tank temp).
L1 FUEL FREEZE PT...................................................................................................................CHECK
L2 Regardless of the fuel type, the flight crew may consider delaying application of the rest of
procedure, until reaching the minimum fuel temperature specific to their fuel type Refer to LIM-28
FUEL TEMPERATURE.
L1 On ground, before takeoff:
IF JET A FUEL:
DELAY T.O.
L2 Do not takeoff, until the temperature is within limits.
L1 In flight:
If inner tank temp is less than -35 °C (auto recall at -42 °C):
IF JET A FUEL (not displayed at -42 °C):
