(5) S 212-008Make sure all the switch-lights of the fuel boost pumps on the P5 panel are in the OFF position.
(6) S 862-009Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(7) S 032-006Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the APU master control switch on the P5 panel.

WARNING:_______DO NOT PUT THE APU START SWITCH TO THE START POSITION. IF YOU PUT THE APU START SWITCH TO THE START POSITION, THE APU CAN START AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS.

Put the APU master control switch on the P5 panel to the ON position to operate the APU DC fuel pump.

Put the container in position to catch the fuel from the APU fuel inlet line.

Operate the APU DC fuel pump until a minimum of 3 gallons of fuel drains into the container (AMM 49-11-00/201).
NOTE: This purges air from the APU fuel inlet line.
