Mean Course Error (MCE) ± 3.0mNote: The ICAO Standard in Annex 10 Volume 1 paragraph 3.11.5.2.5.1 is for ground equipmentcontribution. Checks in the far field would include the effects of multipath.  Due to the similarity withILS it is assumed that this requirement includes multipath effects.MCE standard needs to be clarified by ICAO.  Ground CheckSpot check at the ARD  Direct reading
AngleAccuracyARD to limits of coverage  PFE and PFN The PFE and PFN limits, expressed in angular terms at 37 km (20 NM) from the runway threshold along the extended runway centre line, shall degrade linearly to be 2 times the value specifiedat the ARD  This is a two-part testLevel slice on centre line from 20NM at 0.3 theta to 1.75 thetaNote: The requirement for flight to1.75 theta can be reduced ifelevation is not being checked.Fly down from 7 NM on azimuth and elevation to ARD  Plot from 20 NM to the intercept of the glidepath;andPlot from 6 NM to ARD  CommissioningBothRoutineBoth
CMNThe CMN limit shall degrade linearly from the value at ARD to be 0.1 degree at 37 km (20 NM) from theARD along the extended runway centre line at theminimum glide path angle
