Make sure that Smoke Detector Blower 1 (M10462) operates.

Remove the screws which hold Smoke Detector Blower 2 (M10463).

To get access to the flapper valve remove Smoke Detector Blower 2. Be careful not to disconnect or cause kinks in the hoses.

Make sure the open end around the flapper valve is free of dirt which would prevent a correct position of the valve.

Make sure there is no deterioration of the valve.

Move the valve from side to side to the direction of the open end. Make sure the valve is in the correct position and that it can move freely.

Install smoke detector blower 2 and use the screws which were removed.
