WARNING: DO NOT GET THE SOLVENT IN YOUR MOUTH OR EYES, OR ON YOUR SKIN.
_______ DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE SOLVENT. PUT ON A PROTECTIVE SPLASH GOGGLE AND GLOVES WHEN YOU USE THE SOLVENT. KEEP THE SOLVENT AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME, AND HEAT. THE SOLVENT IS A POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE SOLVENT WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Clean the area to be painted with a cloth made moist with the solvent.
(2)
Put the masking tape on the area not to be painted.

(3) Apply the epoxy primer:
(a)
Put these items in a container:
1) Three parts by volume of the primer base 2) One part by volume of the solution 910-357 which makes the epoxy become hard 3) Two parts by volume of the solvent 020X324.
(b)
Fully mix the items together.
NOTE: The life of the epoxy primer mixture is
____ approximately 8 hours in a temperature of 65-70°F (18-21°C). Identify the mixture by the time and the date at which it was mixed.
(c)
Apply one layer of the epoxy primer to the surface with the paint spray gun and the compressed air.
(d)
Let the primer dry in the air for a minimum of 1 hour.

(4) Apply the aluminized epoxy enamel.
(a)
Put these items in a container:
1) One part by volume of the base of the aluminized epoxy enamel 2) One part by volume of the solution 910-465 which makes the enamel become hard.
(b)
Fully mix the items together.
NOTE: The life of the epoxy enamel mixture is
____ approximately 8 hours at a temperature of 65-70°F (18-21°C). Identify the enamel mixture by the time and date at which it was mixed.
1) Allow the mixture to set for one hour.
(c)
If it is necessary, add the solvent reducer to the mixture until it can be applied with the spray gun.
(d)
Apply one layer of the aluminized epoxy enamel to the surface with the paint spray gun and the compressed air.

(e) Use the heat gun to dry the enamel at 140-180°F (60-82°C) for 1 hour (Ref 20-11-25/201).
NOTE:____ Optional to the heat gun, let the enamel dry in a temperature of 65-70°F (18-21°C) for at least 24 hours.
(5) S 952-009-N00Remove the masking tape.
(6) S 282-010-N00Make sure the epoxy enamel is on all of the surface that was to be painted.
