In turn position each wing anti-ice switch to ON and verify that CDU indicates that using anti-ice when outside air temperature is greater than +100C is invalid. Move switch back to OFF and verify display returns to normal.

Move CDU mode selector to CRZ and verify that ENGAGE light is illuminated. Press ENGAGE and verify that EPR and airspeed command bugs drive to CDU values.

Press TURB and verify that cruise turbulence data is displayed, mode annunciator indicates CRZ TURB, and on GJ ALL EXCEPT 2509 and 2510 airspeed command bug drives to CDU value. EPR command bugs drive to a corresponding N1 value.

Omega Interface Test
(a)
Close the Omega navigation system AC and DC circuit breakers and set the OFF/A/M/R switch to A (Automatic).
(b)
Rotate the Omega DSS selector to POS and, using the keyboard, enter latitude N500 00.0', longitude W120000.0'.
(c)
Turn the Omega DSS selector to D/GMT. Enter the current date (month, day and Greenwich Mean Time).
(d)
Set the Omega DSS selector to WPT, enter latitude N52000.0' and W120000.0'.
(e)
Set Omega DSS selector to GS/DA.
(f)
Connect the air pressure/vacuum sources to the airplane's pitot-static system.
(g)
Slowly apply pressure to the pitot-static system and monitor the pressure increase on the MACH/IAS indicator until 200 knots is indicated and stable.
(h)
Open landing gear lights circuit breaker.
(i)
On Omega, press TK CHG, 0, 1, ENT.
(j)
Rotate the PDC selector to STBY and press the "-" key. Page to test page 4-4 (6-6 on GJ B-2509 and B-2510) and verify that the values for ground speed on the PDC CDU and Omega CDU are identical.
NOTE: Without Omega synched, a wandering of values may occur. This is not unusual.
(k)
Rotate the Omega DSS selector to DIS/CRS and verify that both PDC and Omega display identical values of distance to waypoint.

On the PDC CDU press WIND.

Verify display reads UPDATE YES.
