A. Test
Do the EIS input test (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-002).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message:
DMC2: PROGRAM PIN
or
DMC2: POSITION PIN
- do a check for ground signals at DMC2 (1WT2) connector AB (Ref. AWM 31-61-29).
(1) If the wiring is incorrect:
- repair the wiring.
(2) If the wiring is correct:
- replace the DMC-2 (1WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

1. Possible Causes

- DMC-2 (1WT2)

- wiring from F/O PFD (2WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2)
- wiring from F/O ND (3WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2)
- wiring from lower ECAM DU (4WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2)

A. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC2 : RECONF WIRING and there is no F/O PFD image:
- replace the PFD-F/O (2WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from F/O PFD (2WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2) from pins AA/35, 36 to pins AB/9B, 9C .
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the wiring.

Feb 01/98 CES (b) If there is continuity:
- do a check and repair the wiring from F/O PFD (2WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2) from pins AA/38, 39 to pins AB/9D, 9E (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
1 If the fault continues:

- replace the DMC-2 (1WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
B. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC2 : RECONF WIRING and there is no F/O ND image:
- replace the ND-F/O (3WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from F/O ND (3WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2) from pins AA/35, 36 to pins AB/10B, 10C .
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the wiring:
(b) If there is continuity:
- do a check and repair the wiring from F/O ND (3WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2) from pins AA/38, 39 to pins AB/10D, 10E (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
1 If the fault continues:

- replace the DMC-2 (1WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
C. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC1 : RECONF WIRING and there is no lower ECAM DU image:
- replace the DU-ECAM, LOWER (4WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from lower ECAM DU (4WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2) from pins AA/35, 36 to pins AB/11B, 11C .
(a) If there is no continuity:
- repair the wiring.
(b) If there is continuity:
- do a check and repair the wiring from lower ECAM DU (4WT2) to DMC2 (1WT2) from pins AA/38, 39 to pins AB/10D, 10E (Ref. ASM 31-61/04).
