Do the EIS system test (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-740-004).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message DU EWD(4WT1)/ECP(6WT):
- replace the DU-ECAM, UPPER (4WT1), (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001)
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the CTL PNL-ECAM (6WT), (Ref. AMM TASK 31-61-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-61-12-400-001)
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the EWD DU (4WT1) and the ECAM CTL PNL (6WT) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-000-001)
- check the wiring between the connector AA of the EWD DU (4WT1) and the connector B of the ECAM CTL PNL (6WT) (Ref. ASM 31-68/00).
- install the EWD DU and the ECAM CTL PNL (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-22-400-001)

- do the related trouble shooting (Ref. TSM chapter 21)
(2) If the avionics ventilation system operates correctly:
- do a visual check of the cooling air inlet and outlet of the CAPT PFD DU
