- do a check of the resistance of the spare sensor between pins A/E and A/F for correct value. (Ref. Fig. 202/TASK 30-42-00-991-007)
 (a) If the resistance of the spare sensor is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
- connect pins B/W and B/X of the WHC1 (2DG1) to pins A/E and A/F of the spare sensor (Ref. AWM 30-42-03) and (Ref. ASM 30-42/01).
(b) If the resistance of the spare sensor is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:
- replace the WINDOW-SLIDING, L (8DG1), (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-400-001).
(c) If the fault continues:
- replace the WHC-1 (2DG1), (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-400-001).
(d) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC 1 (2DG1) to the L sliding window (8DG1) pins B/W and B/X to pins A/C and A/D and pins B/W and B/X to pins A/E and A/F.
(2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:
(a) Replace the WHC-1 (2DG1), (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-400-001).
(b) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC 1 (2DG1) to the L sliding window (8DG1) pins B/W and B/X to pins A/C and A/D and pins B/W and B/X to pins A/E and A/F. 
R **ON A/C 301-399, 401-499,
R C. If the test gives the maintenance message L SLIDING WINDOW SENSOR 
R associated with ECAM message ANTI-ICE L WINDSHIELD, or ANTI-ICE L WINDOW: 
R - disconnect the connector from the L sliding window (8DG1) and do a 
R check of the resistance between pins A/C and A/D.

R (1) If the resistance is more than 715 ohms (open circuit) or less than 
R 370 ohms (short circuit): 
R - do a check of the resistance of the sensor 3 between pins A/D and 
R A/E for correct value.

R  (a) If the resistance of the sensor 3 is between 370 ohms and 715  
R  ohms:  
R  - connect pins B/W and B/X of the WHC1 (2DG1) to pins A/D and A/E  
R  of the sensor 3 (Ref. AWM 30-42-03) and (Ref. ASM 30-42/01).  
R  (b) If the resistance of the sensor 3 is more than 715 ohms or less  
R  than 370 ohms:  
R  - do a check of the resistance of the sensor 2 between pins A/E  
R  and A/F for correct value.

R  1 If the resistance of the sensor 2 is between 370 ohms and 715_  
R  ohms:

R  2 If the resistance is more than 715 ohms or less than 370 ohms:_

R  11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-400-001).  
R  3 If the fault continues:_  
R  - replace the WHC-1 (2DG1), (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-000-001)  
R  and (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-400-001).  
R  4 If the fault continues:_  
R  - do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC1 (2DG1) to the  
R  L sliding window (8DG1) pins B/W and B/X to pins A/C and A/D  
R  and pins B/W and B/X to pins A/D and A/E and to pins B/W and  
R  B/X to pins A/E and A/F.  
R  (2) If the resistance is between 370 ohms and 715 ohms:  
R  (a) Replace the WHC-1 (2DG1), (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-000-001) and  
R  (Ref. AMM TASK 30-42-34-400-001).  
R  (b) If the fault continues:  
R  - do a check and repair the wiring from the WHC1 (2DG1) to the L  
R  sliding window (8DG1) pins B/W and B/X to pins A/C and A/D and  
R  pins B/W and B/X to pins A/D and A/E and to pins B/W and B/X to  
R  pins A/E and A/F.
