NOTE
• With the STBY INST switch in the BATT TEST position, the green TEST light
illuminates after 5 seconds indicating the circuit for the standby system is
functional and that there is sufficient battery capacity. If the green light does not
illuminate, this check may be deferred to the BEFORE TAKEOFF checklist after
the battery has an opportunity to charge. A satisfactory test must be completed
prior to takeoff.
• With the STBY INST switch in the STBY INST position, the amber ON light
illuminates indicating the standby instrument system is operating from the standby
battery pack. Once the Battery Switch is turned to BATT the amber light should
extinguish.
