1. THROTTLES . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . CRU DETENT or AS DESIRED
NOTE
The throttles should be reduced to the CRU detent or below within 10 minutes after
reaching an intermediate or final cruise altitude. The use of CLB during normal
operations beyond 10 minutes after reaching cruise altitude will significantly decrease
engine life and increase operator costs.

when the airplane is on a normal flight path. If an alert occurs during approach and the
aircraft is confirmed to be on an appropriate flight path, the TAWS INHIB function may
be used to silence the alert. If there is any uncertainty, climb until the TAWS alert
ceases and execute the missed approach as required.
