This statement is for the sole benefit of British Airways and
cannot be relied upon by any third party.
The IPC represents the approved aircraft configuration at the time
of publication. It is not an officially approved document by the
Certification Authorities. Its contents reflect data prepared by
Aerospatiale and British Aerospace previously certified by other
means. It can, therefore be used as an authoritative document in
terms of the data it contains provided that there have been no
modifications or other changes introduced by British Airways,
Aerospatiale and British Aerospace that would cause the IPC data to
be superseded. Engineering drawings of the issuing Authorities
(Aerospatiale and British Aerospace) should be referred to where
the data in the IPC is of insufficient detail to determine the
exact part to be used.
