7.9 The tilt-rotor aircraft height should not vary during
overflight frorn the reference height at the overhead pant by

7.10 During the approach noise demonstmtion the tiltrotor
aircmft should be established on a stabilircd constant
speed approach within the airspace contained W e e n
approach a yles of 5.5 degms and 6,5 degrees.
7.1 1 Tests should be conducted at a tilt-rotor aircraft mass
not less than 90 per cent of rhe relevant maxirnum ccflificated
mass and may be conducted at a mass not exceeding 105 per
cent of the relevant rnaximu~n certificated mass. For each of
the flight conditions, at least onc test must be completed at or
above lhis maximum certificated mass.
ATTACHMENT G. GUIDELINES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION
OF NOISE CERTIFICATION DOCUMENTATION

The following information is provided for the benefit of States
tbat wish to have further guidance on the administration of
noise certification documentation. These guidelines are not
intended to be applied retroactively, b ui~f S~a~weissh to apply
the proposed formats retroactively they are free to do so.
2. NOISE CERTIFICATION
DOCUMENTATION
2.1.1 Chapter I . 1.5. specifies which information shall, as
a minimum, be included in the noise certification documentation.
The following provides hnher guidance on these items.
Note that all items must be numbered in accordance with 1.5
atld 1.6 of Par1 11, Clraptw I , using Ambit nurnkrs. This is to
facilitate access to the information when the noise certification
dmumcntation is issued in a languagc forcign to thc wcr of
the information. Some itans am relevant to certain chapters
only. In these cases the rtlevant chapters are indicated in the
item
2.1.2 Item I . Name of Stare
Tire alair~e of the Slate issuing he IIO~W certification
documentation. This item should correspond with the informniion
on the certificate of registmtion and the certificate of
airworthiness.
2.1.3 Ifem 2. Tirle of rhe noise documenr
As explained in Sectim 2.3. several different kinds of documents
can be issued depend~ng on the administrative system
for i~nplemcntntion of the noise certification docwnentntion.
The system chosen will determine tbe name of the docurnenr
or documents, for instance "noise certificate". "noise certification
docwnent" or any othcr title that thc State of Registry
uses in its adm~n~strativsyes tem.
2.1.4 Item 3. Number of the doatmenz
A unique number, issued by the State of Registry, that identifies
this particular do cum en^ in its administration. Such a
number will facilitate any enquir~es with respect to the
document.
2.1.5 Item 4. Natiorrality or- common mark
and tegisnntion m a h
The nationality or common mark and registration mrks issued
by the State of Registry in accordance with Annex 7. This item
should correspond with the infonnation on tk certificate of
registration and the certificate of airworthiness.
The type and model of the subject aircraft. This item should
correspond with the infonnation on the certificate of regismtion
and the certificate of ainvonhiness.
The nircrnft saial number ns given by the nmnufxturer of the
aucraR This item should correspond with the information on
the certificate of regmation and the certificate of airworthiness
2.1.8 Item 7. Engine munuf~turer.g ;w unri model
The designation of the inslalled engine(s) for identification and
verificaion of the aircraft configumtion. It should contain the
cype and model of the subject engine(s). The designation should
be in accordance with the rype certif~ateo r supplemental type
certificate for the subject engine(s).
2.1.9 Irem 8. P~wpcller ()pen and mohIfi~.

The designation of the installed propellcr(s) for idcntificu~~on
and verification of the aircraft configuration. Ir should contain

the type and model of the subject propelleds). The designation
should be rn accordance with the type certificate or
supplemental type certificate for thc subject propellefls). This
item is hncludcd only in the noise cemficatinn dnr~~rnentatlnn
for propcllcr-driven aeroplanes.
The maximum take-off lnas. in kilograms. associated with the
certificated noisc levels of the aircraft. The unlc (kg) should be
specified explicitly in order tn nvoid rnis~~ndcrxtnndingIf. thc
