General
Cleaning is to be performed as often as other main interior monument are cleaned to meet public health requirements and to ensure satisfactory operation. Also the unit must be cleaned before it is checked or repaired. Cleaning will expose defects and/or damage as well as the size and location of necessary repairs. Cleaning removes unwanted material which can harm the unit’s performance and appearance. Cleaning is also an extremely important overhaul function for anodized parts that are ex posed to repeated wear, minor nicks, scratches and acids in the form of liquid or vapors.
