3. Safety Considerations
A. The LH RH Class Divider assembly incorporates safety design features such as rounded external corners, flush fittings, minimum projections and component retaining devices to prevent objects from dislodging when subjected to ultimate load conditions and accelera tions. All movable components of the galley, such as the door, incorporate a positive latching provision capable of retaining the component in the closed or stowed position during acceleration.
B. General warning placards, emergency placards, crew instructions placards, and weight placards are located in conspicuous places and are readable from normal working conditions.
C. Material used in construction of the unit is to be fire retardant.
4.
Maintainability
The unit is designed so that inspection, adjustment, service and removal/replacement of parts requires no special tools. Access is provided to the attachment fittings and various service facility connections at the airplane interface.

The unit is an integrally bonded structure which is fabricated from sandwich panels and
aluminum extrusions. The unit cannot be disassembled without affecting its structure
integrity. Disassembly instructions found herein are limited to removal of high-wear, easily
