(4) For the catch basin drain valve in main wheel well at BS 1238, left BL 102 and right BL 102, do these steps:
(a)
Remove the bottom of the catch basin and the drain line.
(b)
Remove unwanted materials from the drain valve with a cheesecloth that is moist with the cleaner.
(c)
Install bottom of the catch basin and drain line.

A. Access
(1) Location Zones 135 Wing Landing Gear Well (left) 136 Wing Landing Gear Well (right) 241 Passenger Cabin Second to Third Door (left) 242 Passenger Cabin Second to Third Door (right)
B. Prepare for examination of drain system.

Remove seats as necessary.

Remove floor panels as necessary.

(3)
Open air conditioning bay doors as necessary.

(4)
Access main wheel well area as necessary.
C. Clean and examine the drain system.

Remove all unwanted materials from the wing center section cavity, drain inlets and catch basins.

(2)
Make sure all scavenge tubes, valves, drain lines and exits are clear.

(3)
Make sure that all the cable standpipes are in a serviceable condition.
D. Restore airplane to normal

(2) S 216-041Visually check the external drains, reducer, and drain lines for damage, blockage, holes, or signs of frozen water.
(3) S 026-042Disconnect the drain line from the drain tube assembly.
(4) S 026-058Disconnect the drain line from the catch basin.
(5) S 026-063Disconnect the drain line from the manual drain fittings.
(6) S 216-043To make sure that the drain line flows freely, do these steps:
WARNING:_______ WHEN YOU USE COMPRESSED AIR, MAKE SURE THAT CORRECT EYE PROTECTION IS WORN BY AFFECTED PERSONNEL TO PREVENT INJURY.
CAUTION:_______ DO NOT USE MORE THAN 8 PSI OF COMPRESSED AIR. VALVES CAN BE DAMAGED. DRAIN
(a) (b) (c) From the drain line outlet, blow 3-5 psi compressed air throught the drain line.Make sure the air flows freely. 1) If the air does not flow freely, do this task; Clean and Examine Drain System Aft of the Wing Center Section.Stop air flow.
(7) S 216-044To make sure that the drain tube assemblies and manual drain fittings flow free, do these steps:
NOTE:____ Do not blow compressed air through the catch basin drain valve.
