DeVilbiss MBC or JGA gun - FX needle and tip, 704 or 765 air cap, or Binks No. 18 gun 63 X 63, PB nozzle assembly, or equivalent; Fluid pressure 10 to 20 psi and air pressure 50 to 70 psi.

(1) Shake the mixture by hand or power mix for 10 to 15 minutes. The aluminum pigment must be fully mixed.
NOTE: Do not get air bubbles in the mixture.
____ If it is necessary, you can add C25/90S thinner to make the mixture thin (up to 20 percent, by volume, of the base)
The working life of the material is 8 hours.

If it is necessary, rework the BMS 10-11 and BMS 10-20 primed surfaces. Let the primer dry before you apply the corrosion inhibiting finish (AMM 51-24-11/701).

Put the mixture through a clean cloth filter before you use it.

Apply the mixture with a spray gun until you have a dry layer with a thickness of 2 to 3 mils.
NOTE: If you get a dry spray condition with BMS10-100 you can
____ decrease the atomizing pressure or you can make the mixture thin with C25/90S thinner.
(a) Allow each layer to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes.

(5) Let the topcoat air dry at 65 to 85°F for a minimum of 4 hours before you move the material. Let the material dry for 24 hours before you use the material.
NOTE: You can use heat on the surface to decrease the cure time.
____ Increase the temperature of the surface to 125 |5°F for 2 hours.
