 Inspection After a NLG Towing Overload or Overrun
 1. Reason for the Job__________________
R R R R R R  This inspection is necessary: - when unwanted movements have occured after the shear pin of the tow bar has broken during towing, - or when you do towbarless towing without NLG steering disconnection. This causes loads on the nose gear and its attachment structure. After the failure of a towing shear pin (during forward or rearward towing) with subsequent separation and overrun of the towbar by the aircraft: - do an inspection of the nose landing gear only. If, during push-turn operations, the towbar arm touches the tow-vehicle after failure of the turning shear pin only: - do an inspection of the nose landing gear only. Always use the correct shear pins. If the towing stops immediately after the failure of the shear pin, the inspection is not necessary. If the shear pins are incorrect (too strong), a full inspection is necewith subs before the next flight. If you do towbarless towing without NLG steering disconnection, a full inspection is necessary before the next flight.
