3 Set airspeed above 250 knots.
4 APU SELECTOR
(if APU available) . . . . . . . . . . . . START, then ON
5 Engines may accelerate to idle very slowly,
especially at high altitudes.
6 Slow acceleration may be incorrectly interpreted as
a hung start or engine malfunction. If N3 is steadily
increasing and EGT remains within limits, the start
is progressing normally. Any further cycling of the
fuel control switches will result in longer start
times.
7 When the HEAT PITOT L+C+R message blanks:
PRIMARY FLIGHT COMPUTERS
disconnect switch . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . DISC,
then AUTO
This restores the flight control normal
mode.
Autopilot can be re–engaged when flight control
normal mode is restored.
Dual Eng Fail/Stall
Condition: Engine speed for both engines is below idle.
